What opens August 12

The portal is used for electronic submission and retrieval of complaint information and evidence. The county warns that an incomplete electronic submission may not be accepted.

Before the window opens, a homeowner can preserve the assessment notice, parcel number, official property record, current complaint form, and any county instructions about signatures, disclosure, evidence, or hearing attendance.

A clean evidence file

Keep county-reported property facts separate from homeowner-provided photographs, estimates, corrections, and other condition information. Label comparisons with their source and explain material differences involving location, size, age, quality, condition, or property class.

Submission proof matters. Save the final complaint, every attachment, confirmation, timestamp, and later hearing or evidence notice.

The September 14 deadline does not determine whether a complaint is appropriate for a particular property or what result may follow. The county controls the forms, portal, filing requirements, and review.
