What the portal states

The county’s electronic system describes a non-refundable filing fee of $15 per folio for ordinary electronic petitions. Special procedures and fee rules apply to certain groups of contiguous undeveloped parcels and condominium petitions.

A homeowner using the portal should retain the transaction number and password supplied after submission so the filing can be checked and evidence can be uploaded according to the county’s instructions.

Prepare from the notice

Preserve every page of the TRIM notice, the folio number, mailing date, petition deadline, property record, stated value, exemptions or classifications, and the current petition instructions.

Keep county-reported facts separate from homeowner photographs, estimates, appraisals, corrections, and third-party data. Explain where each item came from and when it was created or retrieved.

The filing deadline does not determine whether a petition is suitable for a particular property or what decision the VAB may reach.

FairPath helps homeowners organize sourced information and owner-approved evidence. The homeowner files, pays any county fee, uploads materials, and presents the petition directly.
